Angora Goats

We have a small flock of pedigree Angora Goats, they are registered with the British Angora Goat Society and they are fully accredited. They produce very good fleeces. Baby Goats being 24 microns and adults 38 microns. The baby’s fleeces are used to produce lovely soft mohair products, the adults fleeces are used for rugs and carpets. Angoras are very friendly animals, they love to be fussed and make excellent field pets. They mix very well with other animals and can provide excellent company. The goats are clipped twice a year, as their fleeces grow about one inch every month. Breeding is usually August to October and the kids arrive in Spring, male kids are usually castrated at around 5 to 10 days old.

We hope to purchase a stud male this Spring and increase the size of the flock and be able to produce more fleeces. We then hope to have quality products to sale through our web site.
